Crandon, WI—AMSOIL Motorsports Marketing Manager Jeremy Meyer could not have scripted a more perfect scenario to launch the new AMSOIL Cup. Traditionally the biggest short course off-road race of the year, the Labor Day weekend Cup race pits PRO 2WD trucks against PRO 4X4 trucks in an all-out dash for cash. BorgWarner has been the title sponsor of the prestigious race for past 17-years, but decided to retire the BorgWarner Cup this year. Jeremy Meyer seized the opportunity and created the AMSOIL Cup to continue the tradition. AMSOIL has made a five-year commitment to the AMSOIL Cup sponsorship along with a record $25,000 payout for first, $5,000 for second, and $2,500 for third. (more…)

The TN-250 tube notcher is a unique notcher and it has features unlike any other on the market. (more…)
Bark River, Michigan—After a few tuning changes to the chassis following Friday afternoon practice, Scott Douglas was confident he had a fast truck for Saturday’s Round 3 of TRAXXAS TORC Series presented by AMSOIL racing. Qualifying Saturday morning proved the point. Scott Douglas blistered the track with a 1:20.2 second lap – 3/10s quicker than the next fastest truck driven by Johnny Greaves. Normally the number one qualifier starts in the front, but USAC officials decided to shake up the points race and have the top six drivers draw for starting position. Douglas drew a six, bumping him back to the outside or row three. (more…)
